The Gentell Xtrasorb Foam Super Absorbent Dressing is a novel, super absorbent foam dressing designed for managing high levels of fluid in wounds. It is constructed with a highly absorptive, hydrophilic, polyurethane foam dressing, and a patented, super absorbent polymer sheet fused to the back side of the foam.Features Comprises a standard, highly absorptive, hydrophilic, polyurethane foam dressing. Includes a patented, super absorbent polymer sheet fused to the back side of the foam. Capable of handling significantly more fluid than standard dressings. Locks fluid within the super absorbent sheet, keeping it away from the wound and surrounding tissue. Can help to reduce maceration and exposure to the harmful components of wound fluid. Applications Designed for managing high levels of fluid in wounds. Suitable for use in situations where fluid needs to be kept away from the wound and surrounding tissue.
